The MegaFans in a nutshell have given the following benefits:

• Excellent destratification: far better than the high speed fans, no noise, less energy, no draughts or hotspots.
• Even temperature throughout the 19A building, which has meant we can now run our two stage burners on just the primary stages, negating a confined working issue when pilot lights had to be relit in difficult conditions.
• Very effective cooling in the warmer months. This was an additional benefit that was not a selling point for us, but is so effective that we are now using 26 MegaFans in the machine shop, with cooling being the primary driver to negate many issues surrounding open roller doors (security, quality, H&S etc).
• Dispersion of concentrated coolant/sealant odours.
• Very low maintenance, only cleaning required every 1–2 years, compared to high speed fans/other large fans with gearbox and motors.

We were all satisfied with the temperature data that we were no longer wasting huge amounts of energy, making the roof space a tropical micro climate.
